US-based asset management firm Hines is investing in the Seoul office market for the first time in two years. Hines has expanded its investment in Korea since its entry in early 2021, starting with a logistics center and expanding into office and large-scale mixed-use development projects. In April 2021, Hines made its first investment in a logistics development project in Hwaseong, Gyeonggi-do in partnership with Pebblestone Asset Management. Since then, Hines has made two additional investments in logistics centers located in Iljuk-myeon, Anseong, and Namdong Industrial Complex in Incheon.
