SK D&D has formed a joint venture (JV) with Glennmont Parnters, a renewable energy investor from the UK, to invest jointly in solar energy business. The JV will create a financial platform to invest in the purchase of 80MW of solar energy development worth KRW 160 billion. Glennmont Partners is a subsidiary of Nuveen, and has made investments of more than 1,500MW of energy production through Europe’s largest renewable energy fund, including more than 30 solar and biomass green energy projects, worth upwards of EUR 2 billion.
