Tishman Speyer, a New York-based real estate developer and manager, has started its Korean business with an office in Euljiro, Seoul. Tishman Speyer began its global expansion in the mid-2000s. In 2006, it opened its first office in Shanghai, China, and in 2007 launched a real estate fund investing in China, the first US real estate company to do so. Since then, Tishman Speyer has focused its Asia-Pacific investment on China and India, but has begun to expand beyond these countries to the greater Asia-Pacific region.
