Large corporations are busy investing in buildings. They do not hesitate to purchase land worth well over KRW 10 million per pyeong in central Seoul, and are either already building a modernized building or are planning to build one. This is because once a building is completed, it is virtually a golden egg. Walking through downtown Seoul, you will pass by Lotte Town near the entrance to Eulji-ro, Daewoo Village in front of Seoul Station, Samsung and Hanjin Towns around Seosomun, Korea Explosives & Chemicals around Sogong-dong, and modern buildings dotted around Gwanghwamun.
