According to the 2025 Korean Investor Intent Survey released by CBRE Korea in March, the preference for preferred stock investment among domestic investors increased significantly, ranking the highest in strategies for investing in real estate equity. According to CBRE Korea, “despite the trend of interest rate cuts, high interest rates continue to persist, leading to ongoing liquidity shortages in the real estate market. Investors are seeking more sophisticated and stable income generation strategies,” and, “while the preference for real estate loan-type funds pursuing medium risk and medium returns has slightly decreased overall, the demand for equity investments through preferred stock or REITs has increased compared to last year.” […]
