The UK-based private equity firm Actis is regarded as a pioneer in the Korean data center investment market. Actis secured a site in 2020 in Hogye-dong, Anyang, Gyeonggi-do, and began a data center development project. At the time, the Korean data center investment market was akin to a barren desert.
