ESR and Warburg Pincus are growing their influence on the Korean commercial real estate market. Warburg Pincus has used platform investment to wield influence on commercial real estate markets in the Asia-Pacific region, and co-founded the Chinese logistics platform, E-Shang, in 2011, which changed its name to ESR in 2016 via merger with Redwood.
