Foreign real estate investment companies have been actively making changes to their workforce. Blackstone and Goldman Sachs both set up a Korean real estate investment organization this year and recruited accordingly, while Hines, which set up its organization locally early last year, also increased its employee numbers to seven after only one year. Hines invested in three logistics centers in the Seoul metropolitan area last year to build a portfolio of logistics centers and invested in office buildings for the first time this year.
