KKR and Weave Living are rapidly expanding their investments in the Korean rental housing market. Weave Living and KKR announced in March that they would form a joint venture (JV) to build a rental housing asset portfolio of approximately 1,200 units in Korea. The acquisition of The State Seonyu Hotel has helped to secure its first rental housing asset in Korea. Weave Living and KKR will transform the hotel into Weave Suite by the end of this year.
