SC Capital Partners Group (SCCP), a Singaporean asset management company, is among the foreign asset managers that have recently shown active interest in Korean hotel investment. While SC Capital is making its first investment in the Korean hotel market, it has actively pursued hotel investments in Japan. Last year, it formed a consortium with Goldman Sachs Asset Management and Abu Dabi Investment Authority to purchase 27 resort hotels (7,124 rooms) from a Daiwa House Group for USD 900 million.
