The downtown, or Central business district (CBD) is one of the three major business districts in Seoul. With large-scale office development being promoted in Eulji-ro, Se-un district, and Seoul Station, the size of the CBD is expanding, and not only in terms of physical space. Many changes are occurring inside the traditional downtown neighborhood, known as the ‘downtown of downtown’. This small neighborhood can be defined as Mugyo-dong and Da-dong surrounding City Hall Station.
