The Singaporean real estate company CapitaLand has been expanding its data center investment recently. So far, CapitaLand has secured four data center site development projects in Korea, including two in Goyang Hyangdong and two in Hanam. CapitaLand collaborated with the Government of Singapore Investment Corporation (GIC) and data center operator Equinix to develop two data center projects in Hyangdong, Goyang, Gyeonggi-do. SL2X, located at 585 Hyangdong-dong, was completed and has been in operation since the first half of 2024, while SL3X, a second-phase project located at 583 Hyangdong-dong broke ground earlier this month.
