Major companies are accelerating their asset liquidation. Recently, Eland Group has joined the trend of liquidating non-core assets, following KT, KT&G, DL Group, Lotte Group, Hyundai Motor Group, CJ Korea Express, and others. Eland Group-affiliated hotel and resort Eland Park, which has halted operations, as well as assets under construction, and vacant plots of land are all being prepared for liquidation.
