Gangnam Finance Center (GFC), located on Gangnam’s Teheran-ro, is owned by the Government of Singapore Investment Corporation (GIC) remembers the history of the Korean office market from before and after the financial crisis. GFC was initially developed to be the headquarters of Hyundai Group in the mid-1990s, but when the IMF crisis caused Hyundai Group to run into financial difficulties, the building was sold to Lone Star Funds, an American private equity firm, for around KRW 630 billion.
